Alina, also known as Teri, is a former sex worker who was trafficked by the Russian Mafia under Vladimir Pushkin. After Pushkin's demise and the decimation of his criminal empire by Robert McCall, Alina was free to live her own life and become a singer.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
At a young age, Alina was trafficked from Russia and forced to live a life of prostitution by the Russian Mafia under Vladimir Pushkin. Under the control of her pimp, Slavi, she resided in Boston and aspired to become a singer. During these times, she went under the alias of Teri and formed a friendship with another prostitute named Mandy and Robert McCall, a former U.S. Marine and DIA operative who she met at an all-night dinner and engaged in conversation about books on several occasions.
Hospitalized[]
After fighting back against Slavi for unknown reasons, Alina was severely beaten by Slavi and hospitalized for her injuries. There, she was watched over by Mandy. After McCall visited the hospital and asked Mandy about Alina's conditions, Mandy explained that Alina was one of many girls forced into prostitution and that although Alina had hopes that she would be able to live her own life, Slavi reminded her that it would never happen.
Alina's circumstances prompted McCall to visit Slavi and attempted to pay him $9,800 in exchange for freeing Alina from his control. When Slavi refused, McCall brutally killed Slavi and his men, stating that while Alina life would go on, Slavi's would end over $9,800. However, soon it was revealed that Slavi and his men were part of Pushkin's criminal network. As a result, McCall eventually resolved to destroy Pushkin's network after Pushkin's enforcer, Nicholai Itchenko, was sent to investigate the homicides and take out the culprit responsible.
A New Start[]
After Pushkin's demise and the end of his criminal network, Alina recovered from her injuries and was free to make a new life for herself and follow her dreams of becoming a singer, also anonymously gaining an amount of money from McCall to help her get started. One day, she met up with McCall, telling him about how her fortunes had changed and thanking him for all he did for her.
