Summary[]
Congresswoman Elena Acevedo is murdered, and the prime suspect is Jaime Perez, a Venezuelan refugee who Acevedo let stay in her house. Jaime's wife, Marisol, asks McCall to help clear his name. With information from a man who made threats against Acevedo, McCall figures out that Lacey, Acevedo's assistant, killed her.
