Slavi was a pimp of the Russian Mafia and a member of a criminal network led by Vladimir Pushkin.

Biography[]

Slavi was the leader of the East Coast hub of a criminal network led by Russian oligarch Vladimir Pushkin. He particularly engaged in helping exploit women and young girls into prostitution. One such girl was Alina, whom he brought into his sex trafficking ring when she was very young.

At times, some of the prostitutes under him would grow tired of their treatment or dealing with bad clients and would fight back. However, these attempts failed as Slavi severely punished them as a form of dominance. On one such occasion, he burned a girl's face with battery acid to intimidate other girls under his control. He also constantly reminded Alina that although she thought she would be able to make her own life, she would never get the chance while under him.

Later, after Alina resisted Slavi, he responded by beating Alina severely, which resulted in her being hospitalized. Concerned, Robert McCall visited the hospital where he met another prostitute named Mandy, who reluctantly relented that Slavi was the one who beat Alina.

McCall to personally confront Slavi. In his office, McCall attempted to give Slavi $9,800 to win Alina's freedom. However, Slavi made a mocking joke about Americans and also refused to permanently grant Alina freedom, prompting McCall to fight when no agreement was made. Slavi was shot in the neck by McCall before he could reach for his gun. After McCall killed the rest of Slavi's men, he informed Slavi that his heart was beating too fast and he would soon die of blood loss. McCall then said that while Alina's life would endure, Slavi's would end over $9,800. As the dying Slavi demanded to know who McCall was, McCall slowly counted down Slavi's last seconds before Slavi finally succumbed to his wounds.

Legacy[]

Slavi's death prompted Pushkin to send his enforcer, Nicolai Itchenko, to investigate and also find the culprit responsible Slavi's murder. McCall's friend, Susan Plummer also stated that Slavi's death caused severe disruption to Pushkin's operations. With Slavi dead and Pushkin's empire being taken down by McCall, Alina was later able to have a new start with her life after recovering from the hospital, aspiring to become a singer.
